So it’s been over two decades of filmmaking journey which is behind me. Funnily all of it feels like yesterday. It started with an internship with Equinox Films, which then proceeded to be my university for my formal education in the world of films. It was here that I learnt about the value of doing what you do with absolute love and passion . A gift given by my gurus Sumantra Ghosal and Ram Madhvani. A value which I hold dearly to this date. During this period I was the Executive Producer of the critically acclaimed feature film "Lets Talk" directed by Ram Madhvani. After being the producer to Sumantra and Ram for many years the call of being independent happened and I started a production company with the my dear friend and one of the best editors I have known, Amit Karia called “Silver hammer Films”. We co-produced and co-directed many commercials for varied clients like Thums up, Johnson and Johnson, Nestle to name a few. Post this I started the Indian arm of Dubai based Milkshake Media with another friend Dev Vaswani. Milkshake Media is a production house and also a film production servicing facility. We have the capability of servicing film productions in any part of the world through our partners. Along the way I always harboured the dream of working on a long format project. And when Ram started the Long format Arm of Equinox I re-joined Equinox as the Executive Producer. And once again in the university of Equinox I honed my skills in putting together deals with all the leading OTTs, getting all the legal frame work executed and getting cost budget approvals. As my last stint in Equinox I was the Executive Producer for the Disney Hotstar Show "Aarya".So in short I would like to say I have a fair idea of being a Producer, though there is much still to be learnt and experienced.
