Personal health resources in the workplace4. ways to participate in the community to improve the health of workers, their families and other community members• Assess and evaluate work procedures and environments to identify potential hazards and eliminate them or ensure that adequate controls are in place• Advise managers, supervisors and employees about safe work practices and safety standards and regulations• Recommend appropriate procedures and equipment for safety and compliance with relevant laws and regulations• Develop health and safety policies and programs• Instruct safety courses• Facilitate employee safety committees and programs• Promote safe work practices and injury and fatality prevention activities• Participate in incident investigations.• Work with others on emergency planning, inspect machines to identify potential hazards, recommend risk reduction measures and supervise the installation of safety features or the introduction of safer procedures• Regularly inspect premises for fire hazards and adequate fire protection.• Investigate the causes of incidents and develop procedures, methods or devices to prevent similar occurrences in the future.• Complete ergonomic assessments• Identify harmful or hazardous dusts, vapors or gases, and advise management about corrective measures. • Coordinates with the asset holders in assessing & refining their Safety & Loss Prevention operational needs for new and upgrade projects and examines for appropriate inclusion in the tender.•Prepares Project Design Basis, Specifications, Philosophies and Scope of Work for tender. Develops sound Safety & Loss Prevention design basis, identifying design through-put; turn¬down; utilities requirements etc., selects essential standards for use, policy, specifications, technical risks, facility safeguarding, safety and health requirements and infrastructure requirement. Prepares man-hour assessment for discipline level requirements for the work. Participates in assessing the technical capabilities of Consultants, Contractors and vendors. Participates in the technical bid evaluation and coordinates the Safety & loss prevention aspects of the technical bids.• Conduct Jobs Safety Analysis, risk assessments, Impact assessments.• Prepare project specific HSE plans, HSE procedures, Construction environment management plans, Risk registers, Loss prevention plans. • Provide assistance and guidance on all matters to achieve HSE objectives and Targets. Including weekly & monthly audits, Self Audits, weekly & monthly Reports, employee training.• Apply risk management techniques to identify the HSE risks and hazards from operational and construction activities.• Develop the required site-specific orientation training to cover the site work activities. • • Provide the necessary recommendations for alleviating concerns and continuous improvement.• Investigate all HSE incidents to evaluate / determine causes, make necessary recommendations to avoid the repetition and maintain action tracking.• Provide the necessary recommendations for alleviating concerns and continuous improvement.Undertakes the FRA (Fire Risk Assessment) and ensures that the Facilities design are safe and meets the Corporate Standards and International Codes
