Liaising with HAL suppliers such as Mace, Balfour Beatty, Atkins and Computacenter on construction, products and project work.

In charge of all the IT Infrastructure at the Mumbai International Airport, T2 project which included design, procurement and construction work.Over 20,000 data ports and many TC rooms were implemented and tested..Coordinated with architects, civil, finishing, fit out and electrical teams regarding design work.Reviewed and approved high level and low level designs, technical documents and drawings.Coordinated with other services such as CUPPS, CUSS, CCTV, PA systems and FIDS.Coordinated for mill-work, check-in desks/gate desks/ immigration desks, signages, etc. Reviewed cat 6 cable and fibre optic cable results using Fluke and OTDR meters and made sure that they conformed to specifications.

While at new Delhi Airport T3 project I was seconded as a senior consultant to GMR for all IT Infrastructure including IP systems, CCTV, Access Control, PA systems and FIDS at construction site. Responsible for the management and coordination with vendors for structured cabling. Responsible for integration of BMS, BHS, CCTV, ACS and other services to the airport LAN. Signing authority for validation and coordination of all design documents and drawings. Managing a small team of 10 but with up to 200 sub-contractors.

At the New Bangalore International Airport I was in charge for the Project management of all IT systems at site level. In charge of active and passive network as well in charge of FIDS and network installation. Helped in design and implementation of (EPABX) and trunk radio mobile systems (TMRS). Managed at team of 40 sub-contractors and vendors for servers, network, TMRS and EPABX. Reviewing and approving high and low level details design documents and Autocad drawings. I was corrdinating the commissioning, user acceptance tests and final handover to the operational team of all systems.

I was charge of 18 engineers looking afer all level 1,2,3 systems including all desktop, server and network equipment. My main responsibilities were maintaining SLA's, customer relatons, escalations, resourcing of staff and bespoke airport equipment. My customers included British Airways, Virgin, Altantic, BMI and Lufthansa. The area included all British Airways buildings in the Heathrow campus including cargo, compass centre and the technical blocks and airside areas. The equipment that I supported were check-in desks (CUPPS), gates (CUPPS), Common use kiosks (CUSS),Flight Informations Display Systems (FIDS), airline baggage systems, all desktop and server equipment, telcoms room equipment and remote stations.
