As Sterlite Power's QHSE Head, I oversee a group of more than 65 engineers who work to guarantee the environmental, social, and health (ESG) aspects of major transmission projects throughout India. I have a good history in occupational health, safety and environment management, incident investigation and workplace safety index improvement, quality management, process improvement, and operational excellence. I am also certified in general management from IIM-K and hold a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.SOPs, CTS/CTQs, the Supplier/EPC/Service Provider framework, Occupational Health, Safety & Environment Management, and best practices for operational control across plants and projects have all been successfully implemented in my current position. Along with communicating with numerous internal and external stakeholders, I have also performed techno-commercial feasibility analyses for new bids. My accomplishments include reducing non-conformance costs by 150 million Indian rupees (Siemens), eliminating the problem of cube failure in the foundation (Sterlite Power), and achieving over 35 million safe manhours with a TRIR of 0.122.My goal is to provide safe infrastructure projects of the highest caliber the first time, adding value for both the clients and the community.
