- Main responsibility lies in ensuring minimum or no down time in all the assigned systems in the building which has a direct impact on Tenants (Electrical systems including Main panels, MCC panels, Busway system, switchgears, BMS system, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire detection & Protection)- Responsible for initiating, executing and inspection of work abiding to quality, and H&E policies while collaborating with the engineering team to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time, labor, and other resources required to ensure minimum down time in building operation.- Identify sources of energy consumption, collect utility bill data, preparation and analysis of metered consumptions, and identify opportunities to save on costs and track progress of EnMS (ISO 50001) implemented in the building.- Responsible for routinely Testing of Main panels, busways, generators, pumps & motors, car park systems etc… - Accountable for preparing daily work schedules and planning of work & Preparation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)s for the electrical department.- Monitoring and managing the energy efficiency of the building abiding to ISO and GBCSL standards by implementing conservation measures, monitoring energy consumption, assessing business decisions for sustainability while seeking out opportunities for increase energy efficiency- Designing & reviewing of Electrical and HVAC system related matters of tenant fit-out projects.- Ensure proper operation of the BMS system which controls all the HVAC components including CWPs, COPs, Chiller, AHUs, Cooling towers etc…

- I have been assigned to handle three high rise commercial projects simultaneously- Responsible for site coordination, execution and inspection of work abiding to quality, and H&E policies- Collaborating with project staff to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time, labour, and other resources required- Responsible for Testing & commissioning, diagnosing, & Handover of the MV/LV electrical scope (MEP system panels including Fire protection panels, MCC panels, Busway system, switchgears and MDBs)- Accountable for preparing daily work schedules and planning of work & Preparation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)s for the electrical department.- Designing & reviewing of Electrical systems (including BMS/SCADA systems, Panel SLDs, Protection, LPS & Earthing systems), PV solar systems, feeder drawings, plot drawings, redlined, and producing hand-drawn field sketches to meet industry standards.- Preparation of Load Schedules, cable schedules, technical reports, risk assessments, and method statements- Accountable for coordinating and handling stakeholders such as the Ceylon electricity board, Colombo Municipal council, Fire Department etc…, for obtaining approvals and services in different phases of the project.Assigned project(s) - Marine drive Hotel project, colpettyProposed City Hotel project, Colombo
