It is deciding about the production targets to be achieved by keeping in view the sales forecasts. Production control - Carrying out the correct method of production through an effective system of production control is actually related to the effective result. Achieving productivity and low cost. A proper system of production control ensures continuous production, low work-in-progress and minimization of wastage. Quality control - Concerned with maintaining required quality of the product. Quality control is concerned with controlling the negative variables which affect the ultimate quality of a product. It is concerned with use of all the ways and means where by quality standards could be maintained Inventory control - Exercise proper control over the inventory. Determine economic order size, maximum, minimum, average and danger levels of materials so that problems of overstocking and under stocking do not arise. This also helps in minimizing wastages of materials. Apart from the above-mentioned functions, the production Department also carries certain other functions viz., cost control, standardization and storage, price analysis and measuring the level of performance of work by a worker etc.

Handling all types of fuel farm operations, receipt storage & delivery of ATF from refinery toaircraft. Supervising sampling of ATF during pipe line transfer for density & temperature and sendingsamples for QC tests. Supervising VVIP sampling norms for VVIP flights. Maintenance of pumps filters & filters water separators at fuel farm. Preventive maintenance & conditional monitoring of all fuel farm equipment’s.
