Vinod Singhi is the founder of BASICS Architects, an Architecture, Planning & Interior Design firm that has delivered 100+ projects across India, UK, UAE and Canada.Under his leadership, BASICS has delivered over a 100 Commercial, Educational, Hospitality and Residential projects. Many of these projects have been awarded by Indian Institute of Interior Designers and Delhi Architecture Festival for their design excellence.In his career of two and a half decades, Vinod has built his design expertise in the Education Architecture and Hospitality Design segments. An alumnus of SPA Delhi and University of New South Wales, Vinod directs all of BASICS’ endeavours with a sharp focus on design innovation and construction management.An optimist and a futurist, Vinod is dedicated to defining the parameters of Nature-Integrated Design or NID. NID is a holistic approach devised by BASICS that seeks to connect humans with nature. Through his practice and his writings, Vinod is exploring the role that NID can play in achieving habitability and sustainability.
