Head of Engineering and Maintenance for Birla Copper, Dahej complex inclusive of total Mechanical, Electrical, Process Automation of the entire complex. Spearheaded the erection, commissioning and stabilization of 2.5 Lakh Metric Tonnes Copper Rod plant Project from SMS, Germany.

Head of Electrical and Automation at Birla Copper manufacturing complex, Dahej. Handled all Projects and maintenance of entire complex.Awarded the prestigious Chairman's Individual Exceptional Contribution Award in 2012.

Heading Automation Projects and maintenance of entire 0.5-million-ton Copper complex. Executed Copper-1 expansion project, Copper-2 brown field project based on AUSMELT technology, Copper-3 brown field project based on Mitsubishi Japan. Handled Project from basic and detailed engineering, technology and Equipment selection, commissioned control system from Yokogawa, ABB, Rockwell Automation, Siemens. trained on Mitsubishi smelting operation in Japan, Also developed many equipment indigenously. Responsible for driving automation maintenance of entire complex with achievement of Budgeted availability and expenses.

Process Automation head for Copper green field project.Prepared feasibility report, Land acquisition activities, soil analysis, civil piling, basic engineering , detailed engineering, technical evaluation of technology and equipment selection, Erection commissioning of all plants like Flash smelting furnace, Copper refinery, Sulphuric acid plant, Phosphoric acid plant DAP.Continuous copper plant, Raw material preparation area. Captive Power Plant of 100MW. Automation of complete Birla copper complex.Developed Anode caster along with SMS Germany in Germany, worked with technology supplier like Outotec, Prayon, Monsanto, Trained on Copper smelter operation in Finland.

Worked for Zinc smelter Erection and commissioning of Blast furnace, Cowper stoves, Coke oven, Sinter and Sulphuric Acid Plant. Heading Blast furnace Automation execution, system consist of Allen-Bradley PLC and Turnbull control system from UK. Subsequently Maintenance of the plant. Trained on Zinc Smelter operation in UK. Awarded Zinc Expert award for contribution in Cowper stoves firing on waste CO gas, resulted in huge energy saving.

Worked as Project Engineer Automation, worked for Integrated zinc smelter and mines green field project at Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. worked with consultant like Davy-Mackee UK and EIL India on basic engineering, Detailed engineering of Zinc Smelter.
