Successfully co-led a Cost Optimization program to improve the company’s P&L by US$ 100Mn (15% of the addressable/target cost base), working with more than 18 cross-functional teams with as many peers as leaders of these teams and covering ~ 500 people in the company.

i. Lead and deliver entire Sourcing and Procurement requirements for Tata Communications Globally - across businesses, across regions, across subsidiariesii. Developed global relationships with key suppliers for procurement across the globe.iii. Delivered ~ 8%+ y-o-y cost improvement with time to execute goals crossing 90% + consistency.iv. Lead the integration of India and International business, across policy, process and systems. Developed and implemented a global Procurement policy, and revamped process with key metric of time to execute, being added to cost optimization. Oversaw the integration from dual ERP – Oracle + SAP to an integrated SAP platform.

i. Responsible for Sourcing and Procurement for Tata Communications India and South Africa operationsii. Lead the shift from a PSU culture and operation style to a fast growing corporate with global aspirations.iii. Lead the start of South Africa operations through India based team, leading the sourcing and network + IT procurement. Identified, deployed a leader for this team and coached it to grow to a full scale operation.

In 2002, took over as Head-SCM for Mumbai circle, covering all procurement, import, and inventory & logistics functions.iii. Got enlarged responsibility to handle the entire sourcing and delivery, including driving R&D certification and supervising QA process.v. Responsible for Finished Goods - Audio Products procurement for Onida - right from sourcing, to production at contract manufacturers, quality management and logistics management for delivery to sales unit branches
