With an MSc in Advanced Materials from Cranfield University and a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Coventry University, I have a strong academic background and a passion for materials science and engineering. I am fluent in English, German, and Malay, and have an Associate Member certification from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.Currently work as a Manufacturing Engineer at Multi-Ply Components Limited, a global leader in the design and manufacture of carbon fibre components for medical x-ray imaging. I apply my technical expertise and problem-solving skills to implement composite knowledge, resolve composites related issues, and optimize processes using lean tools. I am actively involved in new product introduction, taking products through each stage of development to production scale. I also work with customers to ensure compliance and timely delivery of high-quality products. Previously, I was a Research Assistant in Composites Processing at Cranfield University, where I partnered with the Composites and Advanced Materials Centre on various projects alongside industry partners. I developed and tested innovative composite materials and technologies, such as a hybrid sensing system for online monitoring of composite structures and ultimate erosion-resistant solutions for wind turbines. I used various engineering software and thermal analysis techniques to formulate and evaluate the manufacturing, testing, and process analysis of resin systems and CFRP structures.I am driven by the advancement of the materials sector and creating sustainable solutions to practical challenges in this industry. I have proven experience in the project management and supply chain sector of PPG Industries, where I assisted in cost cutting initiatives and launching new projects in South East Asia. I am team-oriented, inventive, progressive, and eager to take on challenging projects requiring superior performance.
