I apply my technical expertise and problem-solving skills to implement composite knowledge, resolve composites related issues, and optimize processes using lean tools. I am actively involved in new product introduction, taking products through each stage of development to production scale. Formulated and evaluated the manufacturing, testing and process analysis of resin systems to be used in CFRP structures via modelling and thermal analysis techniques such as LFA, DSC, TGA and DMA.• Ultimate Erosion-resistant Solutions for Wind Turbines (November 2022-March 2023)Working closely with other departments to develop a proof of concept to coat composite turbine blades with metallic coatings to mitigate erosion. Expedited the manufacturing of prototype composite panels that were suitable for metallic coatings. Project goals were achieved with the successful deposition of metallic coatings on panels which are undergoing testing and validation.• Design and manufacture of a portable through thickness reinforcement insertion tool for composites. Project goals achieved include the successful manufacture and trst trials of insertion tool, alongside creating an IP for said tool. This project is a follow up of the individual research project carried out at Cranfield in 2022.• Other projects and responsibilities include the design and development of a structural battery box for automotive and aerospace applications, various NPD projects, ensuring laboratory is in guidance of Health & Safety guidelines, providing professional guidance and advice to PhD and MSc students in numerous projects.
