Specialising in key areas of communication such as presentation skills, public speaking, writing skills, phonetics, grammar and soft-skills, I have more than a decade’s experience training people in settings as diverse as corporates and colleges. As an English literature graduate with the advantage of a TESOL qualification (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), I bring structured and practical know-how of communication training to the table. The TESOL program that I have completed is known as CELTA, and is awarded by Cambridge English.TRAINING METHODOLOGYCommunication skills, whether it be the mundane 1 on 1 conversations, the intense boardroom presentations or the very anxiety inducing public speaking engagements, more than being taught in the classroom, have to be acquired in real-life settings , and therefore it is an environment which replicates real life situations that I try to create in the classroom . As a facilitator I understands that being a learner is not easy, that learners can be subject to mood swings, attention deficit issues and stress, and stress added with low self esteem can make every learning plan futile. Therefore, it is not just about what I can deliver but also the learners state of mind that I am concerned with.
