Engineering leader in Google Cloud Group as part of One Fleet organization which is responsible for optimizing the data center resource planning for the whole of Alphabet. Optimize resource utilization and reduce Opex costs by providing a unified tooling experience for all resource types, creating an integrated loop between demand, ordering, & fulfillment systems, delivering business value via Production Tier Deployed Inventory (PTDI) reduction and avoiding SWE duplication. One of the key initiatives in One Fleet is called Product Area Resource Planning Automation (PARPA). Team which I was leading was responsible for building two key services 1. Hierarchy Service 2. Demand Curation Service. Hierarchy service was an infrastructure service responsible for allowing various product areas like TI, Cloud, ML,etc. to define their own custom hierarchies for planning with capabilities for associating metadata, ACLs etc based on the custom hierarchy. Demand Curation Service is a service which orchestrates the complete capacity planning all the way from demand forecasting, demand curation, supply demand matching (SDM), creation of orders based on the SDM, creation of fulfillment instructions based on how the demand is going to be fulfilled. Currently multiple product areas like Tech Infrastructure, Cloud, etc. have been onboarded to this platform In 2023, onboarding of PARPA by PAs led to savings, by usage of more accurate demand forecast signals based on Momentum Resource Forecasts, better usage of idle inventory, etc. As engineering leader, formed the team in Bangalore, , defined the organization structure, worked with multiple customers like TI, Cloud, ML, YouTube, Ads and Core, to define Joint OKRs with them, worked closely with PA resource managers and Directors of resource planning for these PAs to define onboarding process, roll out strategy, etc.Technology stack which is used is Java based micro service, with the back end being Spanner.

Cloud platform consisted of five microservices, which we were built from scratch ground up. Team also developed SDK for integrating these services with products. cloud services were built using Java. Frameworks which were used were Jetty server, Cassandra, Kafka and Redis. Among these microservices some were stateful and some were stateless. Client interaction with microservices used protobuf for steaming of messaged. This is a multi geo deployment with CI/CD built using kubernetes and monitoring done using splunk and datadog. Service has been in production for more than an year now and have two products already integrated and are in production.- Creative Cloud - Built a team ground up which developed Android mobile applications such as Adobe Capture and Adobe Draw - Engineering owner for Edge Animate which was a 2D animation tool based on HTML5- Flash Player Runtime - Engineering leader, leading team on dev engineers focusing graphics subsystem for Android platform, bringing multi-channel audio support of audio in flash player.
