"A good strategy is executable, else it is wishful thinking."A rare combination that I bring is the ability to think through a strategy all the way to execution. Whether it is crafting a digital transformation story for a business or a product feature roadmap - both require me to create a big picture that is balanced on end-user empathy and technological aspirations. This skill is what helps me excel in my role as a Strategic Consultant.I believe that Supply Chain is the back bone of any business and can make or break it. I am passionate about helping businesses transform and I stand with my clients on their journey right from drafting the transformation story till they realize the promised business value.I learnt my Supply Chain basics during my MBA at IIM Ahmedabad (after my B.Tech from IIT Bombay). Since then, there has been no looking back. Over the last 25 years, I have gone deeper into this field and discovered/ learnt various fascinating aspects that I use to build executable transformation stories.This journey has taken me through many roles, client industry sectors, engagement types, Supply Chain Processes covered and couple of company acquisitions (i2 Technologies to JDA to BlueYonder) on the way.- Roles: Strategic Consulting, Presales, Implementations, Product Management, Project Management, Mentoring, Practice Management- Client Industry sectors: Electronics, Semiconductors, Chemicals, Metals, CPG, Auto Aftermarket- Engagements: Process design, Opportunity Assessments, Forecast/ Inventory Optimization, Architecting/ Implementing BY solutions- Processes covered: Strategic S&OP/ IBP, Tactical Demand and Supply Planning, Operational Factory, Transportation and Fulfillment, and ExecutionPublic Speaking: I feel privileged to have been a regular speaker at many industry and academic forums over the years. I focus on demystifying complex Supply Chain concepts and new trends.Inner Connection: This is an integral aspect of what keeps me going. This comes through my 'sadhana' - daily spiritual practices that I have learnt at the Art of Living. I am also a trained teacher of the Foundation's programs and I believe that this inner connection is very essential for effectiveness at work.
