Vinod is a highly experienced Chief Architect in the fields of cybersecurity, blockchain, AI, and open source, with over 25 years of experience in software development and product architecture. Currently serving as the Global Head of open source, blockchain, and AI security initiatives at Wipro's Cybersecurity practice, Vinod is an expert in Decentralized identity, Blockchain security, and building open source solutions. He has extensive expertise in open-source and community-led tools development, open-source licensing, and re-engineering of products. Vinod has published whitepapers and is a well-known speaker at international forums, displaying his passion for open source and blockchain.Vinod has conducted numerous workshops and training programs, mentoring organizations and project teams on their open source and blockchain strategies. He is the co-creator and inventor of open-source projects like BeSecure, KochiOrgBook & openAppHack. He is also a Hyperledger Internship mentor for 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.He was the co-chair of the ToIP utility working Group.In his previous roles, Vinod headed the open-source initiatives for blockchain practices and was the lead architect for Wipro's Inner-sourcing platform Openconnect. This platform has over 10,000+ users, 100+ open projects, and offers 25+ variants of development environments to work on open-source projects. He also led the software engineering and specialized tools development program for over 6 years, adding 12 new products to Wipro's tools portfolio and expanding the usage to over 200+ customer projects.Vinod has played a significant role in growing Wipro's Drupal and DevOps Community, co-organizing Blockchain Kochi and Drupal Kochi. He is a Senior Member and Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at Wipro. Vinod has also been granted multiple patents, including system and method for automating identification and download of web assets or web artifacts, zero-trust based access management of infrastructure within the enterprise using micro-segmentation and decentralized identifier network, system and method for managing security risk of information technology systems in an enterprise, method and system for generation of reusable design patterns, method and system for preventing fraud in a trusted network, method and system for managing mobile assets using a decentralized network, and source code auditor with a customized rules builder.
