The Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) is a program of the Government of Victoria, Australia, to remove 93 level crossings in Melbourne. Due to the successful nature of the level crossings to date, the $18 billion project is being used as a catalyst for transformation in the construction sector, courtesy of a knowledge-sharing and ‘smart search’ tool that could increase opportunities for accessing and reusing knowledge gained from prior works. This initiative is pioneered by the Research & Innovation team within LXRP and within this team, my role encompasses strategising and implementing industry best practices for data management, solutions development and providing expertise in business-critical AI solutions. I focus on creating design-led platform(s) for innovation, focused on solving complex problems in a collaborative environment.

Specifically over the course of the pandemic, we used data capture, machine learning, artificial intelligence and data storage to consolidate and predict viral patterns to drive vaccine development and production.• Stakeholder management as demonstrated by leading high quality production of needs assessments using evaluation tools for >30 clinics and small-sized hospitals from 15 small and rural towns to comply with Australian Government Department of Health regulations, use policy and models, emerging health systems – merging needs and providing aid for areas affected by the recent bushfires, moving into Covid-19 pandemic. This involved high level communications, strategizing commercial opportunities and negotiations with >45 Board of Directors, healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, dieticians, dentists, small town paramedics, palliative caregivers etc), lawyers, IT professionals to set up compliancy as needed by the Department of Health.• The above project stemmed a collaboration with the Ministry of Health, India, towards the manufacturing and large-scale production of Covishield vaccine in India through the Covid-19 pandemic. Project management, timeline delegation, coordination with >60 stakeholders (legal, finance, IT, clinical trials) across 4 time zones since May 2021 leading to production capacity of >250 million doses/month.• Risk assessment and management acumen of healthcare regulation processes (end-to-end), training in strategic prevention framework methodology using customized presentations, and technical assistance resulting in over 300 organizations advancing research, data collection and analysis, and evaluation.• Change management, adopting AGILE techniques and adaptability moving into remote workspaces
