 Preparation and Implementation of HSE Plan and HSE procedures as per client requirement by coordinating with the line management.  Liaises with operations/maintenance personnel for safe accomplishment of day to day activities and for special safety measures during startups, shutdowns, call out jobs, construction activities, etc. Strictly implement the Client Work Permit procedure prior to start any activity.  Preparation Daily, Weekly HSE reports, Audit reports, weekly meeting reports and near miss /accident reports and communicates the reports to the concerned parties. Participating HSE meetings and special meeting with Clients and Subcontractors to discuss the safety issues and maintain the records of HSE issues. Plan and organize HSE Induction and in house training for employees as per craft & activity wise. Prepare & organize task risk assessment meetings as per the Client requirements. Conduct periodic inspection in all lifting equipments and heavy equipment on site to ensure that they are safe for use. Investigate all Near misses/incident/accident, unsafe acts/conditions for preventive/corrective action.  Conduct daily site inspection to ensure that safe work methods are implemented; welfare and first aid facilities are adequate and properly maintained as per client’s requirements. Conduct periodic inspection in all equipment and strictly implement the color coding system. Organizing emergency drill to ensure effectiveness of Emergency response procedure. Implementing Safety practices during Radiography and Hydro Testing activities.

 Conduct Daily site HSE inspection for Hot Works Eg., welding, Cutting etc. before inviting client for signing the work permit Organizing training on Hydrogen Sulphide and breathing apparatus as per requirement. Conducting Advanced Safety Audit in order to find out unsafe Acts/ Conditions and initiate corrective actions to overcome unsafe conditions. Carry out weekly joint Safety Walkthrough with Sub contractor personnel and ensuring all the corrective/preventive actions are closed out. Organizing weekly site safety meeting and special meeting with discipline managers/engineers to discuss the safety issues & maintain the records of HSE issues. Organize tool-box meetings at workforce and arrange training for competent persons if necessary. Conducts site inspections to ensure compliance with safety measures and the scope of project HSE plan & procedures. Organize campaigns, Special trainings and other special events in order to promote HSE in work place and there by develop safety as culture  Enforce safety related work rules and take action to ensure compliance in alignment with established disciplinary policies. Ensure Waste Management, storage, handling & safe disposal of any waste from site.  To ensure the safety Management system is maintained promptly and monitors the progress and suggests corrective, proactive measures to achieve the HSE Goals & Objectives.

 Carry out site surveys to see that only safe work methods are in operation that health and safety requirements are being observed. Provide written instructions to establish work procedure, explain the sequence of operations, outline potential hazards and indicate the precautions to be adopted. Participate in jobsite audits and Health & Safety assessments as required by management. Conduct safety inspection at all major equipment to ensure that they are in good running condition and safe for use. Providing a safe and healthy working environment for all personnel at site. Conducting weekly assessments to monitor compliance with Health & Safety requirements. Encouraging the workers by conducting various activities such as safety man of the month and Spot award and other incentives etc. Coordinate to the concern personnel for any safety deficiency on the areas, prepare reports and target plans. Supervising closely where hazardous permitted work is taken place & ensure that all work activities are ceased in the event of breach of or non-implementation PTW. Coordinate Internal HSE training, initiate drive to promote HSE Awareness and performance Conduct ongoing assessments of the work areas and take necessary corrective actions to eliminate substandard practices, conditions and/or behaviors. Monitor selection, use and care of PPE and other safety equipments and educate to the work force on the use and care of the above items. Bring an overall awareness among all level of workmen about HSE through safety talks, meetings, displaying safety posters, slogans & bulletins.
