Position Title: Project Expeditor.Monitor the materials expediting/inspection activities of EPC contractors involved in the delivery of multiple oil and gas facilities projects. • Receipt and tracking of all material inspection and progress related deliverables and responses to EPC Contractor. • Ensure material manufactured and delivered is inspected for conformance to contract specifications. • Co-operate and co-ordinate with all relevant Project Management Team members Client representatives and other parties to ensure the specified equipment is inspected and provided on schedule. • Receive and review purchase requisitions. • Desk expediting of equipment and materials ordered, tracking vendor’s progress and prepare regular reports. • Liaise with Project Teams, Engineering Dept., QA/QC Department and Client to manage timely inspection of the goods on order as well as to arrange for field expediting visits when required. • Liaise with or act as logistics coordinator to support timely delivery of the goods to destination. • Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system. • Safety – Responsible for personal safety and safe working practices, understand and follow OH&S procedures. • Provide an effective expediting service in accordance with a Project’s requirements. • Control suppliers/subcontractors in maintenance of their own expediting efforts. • Co-ordinate expediting activities. • Initiate expediting action – either desk or field.

Responsible for the complete Supply Chain Management Functions right from MR / PR stage to the completion of supplies at site ( MRR Material receipt at site).Hands on experience in Procurement of Steels & structural , Pipes, Valves, Pipes fittings, Different types of Cables, Heavy machineries & Conveyors equipment's & Instrument devices .Float inquiries to the approved vendor list and obtain offers within cutoff date.Forwards Technical offers to Engineering department for the Technical bid evaluation.Assist Technical department to close the TQ and open issues.Negotiation with vendors to meet the competitive prices and estimated price ( cost working sheet done by self).Issue the PO to the competitive selected vendors ( Price, quality and service). Expedite with supplier each stages and ensure the delivery milestones meets as per the contractual date.Update the weekly status to internal Procurement / Project Management and highlight the concerns.Additional skills:-Familiarized with international Material standards & price trend. Provides assistance to Sales Marketing team for the new tender cost estimation.
