Communicating with Less Ambiguity (and More Clarity)As one who has developed a strong habit for organizing my thoughts, I understand the consequences of unclear communication. I understand that it takes energy to comprehend and puzzle things that are not clear. For what it’s worth, clear communication, limits misunderstanding and stress in all parties involved.On a personal note, my upbringing is perhaps to blame for my love of clear and unambiguous communication. As a Dutch American with a Puerto Rican dad, I had to manage the complexity of learning three languages and understanding a variety of cultures during my formative years.Furthermore, with my passion for Travel, Literature, and History, I developed a unique ability for writing about things that happen and developed the ability to piece together all sorts of convincing written arguments across a variety of subjects.Moreover, over the last 8 years, I have developed an appreciation for communicating with less ambiguity (and more clarity) especially when it comes to enhancing the customer experience. In my current role, I get to play a critical role with Dunlop’s customers leveraging all sorts of written and verbal communication. I am responsible for writing introductory emails to potential customers including the pros for ordering through the web shop, listing all the benefits of using the web shop, and writing the instruction manual and functionality summaries for all customers. In past roles, I have played an instrumental role in enhancing the customer user experience by creating manuals for authorized service dealers and stores to help them understand our claim systems. Furthermore, I completed surveys, performed beta testing, and wrote reviews for pre-launch products to enhance end user experience.My writing interests go beyond business user experiences and into the world of my hobbies which include travel, literature, journalism, history, music, playing guitar, collecting vinyl records, completing puzzles, and hiking. I am always on the lookout for writing in any of these recreational areas as well as on more serious topics such as copywriting and translations across a variety of areas including music, customer experience, and product review publications.
