Measuring patient’s vital signs such as blood pressure, respirations, temperature, and heart rate as well as collecting samples of patient’s urine and blood samples for laboratory tests. Monitoring the need for endo-tracheal intubations, evaluating need of tracheotomy procedures, performing cardioversion, monitoring CVP, ABG, IV sites for signs of phlebitis and infiltration.Administering medications as per policy and documenting patient information, assessment and medication administration as per policy. Facilitating nursing care for patients with tracheostomy tube, suctioning of tracheostomy tube, assessing the functioning of surgical drains. Evaluating patient status and briefing it to physicians & clinical charges for further process, carrying out the clinical tasks as per the hospital rules, procedures and policies. Practicing standard precautions, isolation precautions, wound management and all invasive procedure to infection control policies and procedures.
