I have made three career shifts in my professional life - from research and academics to design and finally to business planning, business development and marketing communications, all of them successfully, however modest the success may have been. I am also a self-taught multi-disciplinary scholar (with knowledge of multiple disciplines of social sciences and humanities including economics, management theory, law, sociology, psychology, social psychology, linguistics, public administration and statistics). I connect this knowledge to practical application by both analyzing problems from multiple perspectives and finding creative solutions. My consistent strengths have been a rapid ability to learn and master a new area; an inter-connected, n-step analysis of everything; and a die-hard, focus-driven pursuit of an objective in my mind. These represent the common bedrock of all my career shifts and whatever modest success I have achieved. My career aims include helping companies develop and implement strategic solutions to reach their business goals and address client needs; and handling entrepreneurial and leadership challenges of increasing diversity, scale and complexity in order to master them. I like helping top management in finding best solutions to their pressing business problems (for a fees). Competencies: Startup/SBU incubation, corporate vision/mission, business strategy/solutions, process engineering, OD, marketing strategy, financial analysis, resource planning, program/project management, product management, partnership/account management, change management, crisis management, negotiation. Deliverables: Business proposals/contracts, business plans, presentations, SoWs/specs, investment plans, marketing plans, partnership blueprints, organizational roadmaps.I also offer managed vendors services with the help of my professional collaborators in areas like marketing communications, software design and development etc.
