I reported on the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) to management and developed and monitored compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). I implemented and monitored Internal Quality Control (IQC) and External Quality Assurance (EQA) for lab tests, conducted internal and external laboratory audits, and prepared the laboratory for accreditation.In managing customer engagements, I collected feedback and handled complaints. I documented and managed incidents with root cause analysis and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). I led equipment and method validations and verifications, and updated the Laboratory Information System (LIS) for optimal lab operation.Performing trend analysis for continuous improvement was a key part of my role, along with assessing training needs and implementing necessary trainings. I conducted risk assessments and implemented mitigation plans, ensuring up-to-date equipment service and maintenance.

I created protocol guidelines for laboratory and site use as needed and ensured that sample analysis and data reporting adhered to trial protocols.I attended project kick-off meetings with Research and sponsors and provided support during audits conducted bsponsors. Additionally, I demonstrated versatility by working as a technologist on the bench when necessary.

I provided staff coverage, maintained lab conditions, and managed staffing and training.I handled supply selection, monitored referral laboratory quality, addressed staff and service user feedback, and ensured adherence to Quality Control guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures. I led budget planning, maintained accreditation, and provided clinical advice. Additionally, I implemented contingency plans, directed research and development, and managed service level agreements.

I developed site-specific Standard Operating Procedures for 28 sites and monitored Quality indicators across these locations. I conducted internal audits and provided guidance on root cause analysis and corrective action documentation and implementation throughout Africa. I worked with teams to establish site-specific objectives and monitored IQC and EQA performance.Additionally, I conducted risk assessments, managed incidents, and organized management review meetings. I also developed training course presentations to support staff development.

I have extensive experience performing tests in hematology, chemistry, endocrinology, microbiology, and serology, while also training interns and students.
