The association AILERONS aims at protecting sharks and rays of the Mediterranean Sea by:- raising awareness about their vulnerability and promoting shark-friendly consumption practices- contributing to the scientific knowledge of the most common - yet critically endangered - shark species: the blue shark (Prionace glauca) by leading a citizen science genetic program involving recreative fishermen (project "Grand Large")In the association, my role consists in:- maintaining contacts with the network of partners to enforce the collaboration on the present and future projects- leading the project "Regulation" that aims at synthesising, centralising, and diffusing shark fishing regulations in the Mediterranean Sea (response to calls for projects, search for new partners, meeting organisation)- working on the scientific part of the project "Grand Large" (literature review, method suggestions)
