Utilized prior knowledge to improve upon and help organize Raiser's Edge donor database/CRM and its connection to Financial Edge, as well as upkeep gift entry (digital donations as well as frequent checks and ACHs). Handled stewarding each gift, maintaining relationships with donors, and being the point of contact for commemorative giving programs (including a Nursery sponsorship and commemorative brick program). Also assisted in a departmental overhaul including a major database cleanup, and transition to new gift processing and general operations.

Consolidated and managed multiple donor databases, relations with current donors, and different local funders for the calendar of events. Simultaneously worked to recapture previous donors lost due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and researched to outsource new donors to hit fundraising goals and bolster the annual development plan. Additionally worked under CEO to plan events that centered around foster parent recruitment and general fundraising for the non-profit agency. Most work was self-driven, including putting together certain events with little to no direction. The role was previously unfilled for a few years, and much work was dedicated to cleaning up and crafting organizational understanding of the department.

Responsible for setting up shift a few hours early, giving announcements, and facilitating multiple supervisors to be able to help callers succeed. Additionally taking on huge responsibilities and taking on the task of running shift and being open and available to all employees who need assistance during shift hours. Overall being the main point of contact for daily operations and assisting all when necessary.

Managed multiple teams personally while keeping both professionalism and a friendly atmosphere present at the same time. Kept some calling responsibilities, but mainly focused on making sure that new and past student callers alike were able to learn how to excel at cold calling and how to be as warm as possible to others, even when that wasn't reciprocated by the people on the other end. Towards the second half of the fall semester in 2020, supervisors helped aid in the transition to remote calling by personally being the first to learn the technological skills, and then teaching that to older callers. Overall, held to a high standard of work ethic and managed to keep callers in line as well as completing multiple remote tasks and attending numerous important meetings.

Contacted over 2,000 alumni in one semester cold calling to raise funding for special programs in need at Michigan State University working under the University Advancement position. Had to handle learning the fast-paced environment of a room of over 80 callers a night and having to cold call new people every shift while still managing to personally raise over $10,000 in one semester alone. Worked closely with a supervisor to help be the main mentor for a team of student callers and for training newer callers on how to call successfully. Also attended pre-shifts, managed additional duties, and was held to a much higher standard with more scrutiny than normal.

Worked with other fellows around the state as well as the country to plan certain campus-based events that focused around voter education and engagement. Duties ranged from working under strict deadlines and having weekly meetings, to attending calls with elected officials to try and make voting and the political process in general more accessible to students. Additionally getting the opportunity to work with the MSU-based voting outreach program, MSUVote, to tailor certain events to the political voices of Spartans currently in the East Lansing community.
