Member of the Natural Sciences sub-committee within the journal. Thus far having published 2 research papers concerning the complexities behind feeding ruminant livestock seaweed in order to reduce methane emissions and examining the impact of volcanic eruptions with low volcanic eruption indexes in terms of economic damage and damage to global infrastructures.

Elected position working to expand what mining means within the industry. Inviting speakers, planning events, and working with my peers to create educational events that discuss not only the current complexities of mining, but what mining will mean in the future as demand for things such as electric vehicles grow and as we work towards net zero carbon emissions.

Developed, reviewed, and edited multiple articles on chosen environmental topics all of which have since been published in this University publication. Work showcased in a printed edition of the magazine.
