As a third-year undergraduate student at the University of St. Andrews, I am pursuing my passion for environmental science through the BSc Environmental Earth Sciences, hoping to apply my knowledge to pertinent environmental issues. From showcased works in multiple university publications focussing on green resource innovations and serving on the university's geological society committee, to being selected to serve on congresswoman Anna Eshoo's student advisory board for the environment, I have consistently worked to enhance my exposure to different aspects of the field.This past summer I worked as a summer intern for Jodi McGraw Consulting (JMc), assisting with mine remediation through plant, land, and insect surveys. In the summer of 2023, I completed a summer internship with California environmental non-profit, Ecology Action, working with their Electric Vehicle Outreach team, where I helped implement energy and transportation solutions in local communities through written website content on recently implemented policies, created and led educational webinars on available grants and rebates, and used census data to map communities where newly implemented EV benefits were applicable to residents.
