CurrentIn a municipality, as an economist i play crucial roles in analyzing local economic trends ,participate in preparation of the budget and its supplementary, preparation of annual development plan, sector working group and integrated development plan, advising on fiscal policies, contributing to sustainable development and I also am participating in preparation of Kilifi county statistics policy preparation . Their duties may include conducting economic research, assessing the impact of local policies, and providing recommendations to enhance economic stability. Economists also collaborate with local government officials to formulate budgets, evaluate public projects, and address issues like unemployment or inflation within the community. Additionally, they may analyze demographic data, assess tax structures, and contribute to strategic planning for the municipality's economic growth.
