Bioburden testing for in process samples and finish product using membrane filtration technique.Production support: - Water testing (WFI and Non-WFI). - Compressed air testing. - Environmental monitoring testing (Grade D, grade C and grade B). - Strong knowledge of cleanroom behaviour (aseptic technique and gowning). - Real time risk assessments.Quality Control of finish products: - Sterility testing ( Grade B cleanroom) - Endotoxin testing ( turbidimetric and chromogenic methods).Evaluation of results and perform Investigation related to OOS/ OOT.Identification of microorganisms.Growth Promotion test.Lead continuous improvements ( use of Lean tools such a Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Kanban, 6S).

Supervise a team of microbiologists to control the progress of the product under test.Provide technical support to help implement process improvements.Design the training plan for new starters and microbiologists within the team.Plan and organise the weekly rota for the different tests performed in the laboratory ( bioburden, water testing, plate reading, EM, Sterility and Endotoxin test).Lead the daily laboratory meeting (Tier 1) and represent the Microbiology department in the Tier 2 meeting and Quality meeting across the facility.Ensure the laboratory is maintained to GMP/GLP standards.Write and review SOP’s.Review of results to ensure Good Documentation Practices are followed.Release of Raw material and finish product results.Close collaboration with other departments to perform continuous improvements in the facility.
