Responsibilities include research new technology and innovative ways to use the current portfolio in the cement pressure pumping department. Manage all projects including their budgets, meetings, and presentations through a project management database. Aid in technical support, review requests and help troubleshoot issues other districts my be encountering. Upkeep cleanliness and calibrations of equipment. Purchase any items needed for lab use or to aid in projects.

Cement lab technician- performed cement testing per API. used instrumentation of high pressure and high temperature. These included UCA , MACS II, HPHT consitormeters, HPHT curing chambers. Grinders and cutters were used to prepare cement samples for further testing using sophisticated equipment, for example confined compressive strength, Young's modulus, Poisson's ratio or tensile strength. I also aided in QA/QC testing in mostly retarders, and some fluid loss additives.

-Engineered cement jobs using collective data. the data included well depths, temperature gradients, fracture gradients, casing selection, desired volumes, and issues encountered during drilling- Aided in the design of cement slurries based on the previously mentioned parameters. -Assembled packets that included lab reports, program and well simulations, and post job reports -liaison between laboratory personnel, customer, salesman, and operational supervisors- attended cement jobs and visited district labs when possible

- Researched new products - Developed blends and additive loading sequence for district labs- Composed lab reports and distributed among people in my group and other pertinent groups - trouble shoot instrumentation

-Performed testing on field blends and field samples as well as pilots - Tests performed per API: compressive strength with UCA and cube chamber, gel strength with both SGSM and rheometer, HPHT consistometers for thickening times and thixotropic testing, HPHT rheometers for more accurate bottom hole conditions and HPHT fluid loss instruments- Was involved in the development a surfactant combination that was used for optimal mud removal/well cleaning. This was later included in a mud removal wash that I also participated in formulating. - kept inventory and lot number tracking for 3 districts - attended cement jobs
