Violet is delighted to be working with another gifted and passionate group of volunteers at the Harriet Beecher Stowe House.Being connected to the community and volunteering for the overall growth of the region and state have directed her career path. She has served on the boards of the Ohio Travel Association, The Tourism Council of Greater Cincinnati (recently renamed Cincy Hospitality Professionals) and Ohio Arts Professionals Network. Violet views participation in local and regional events and meetings as an opportunity to professionally represent the Stowe House and to tell their story.She has a BA in Communications with a Theatre Emphasis, professional sales and sales management training, post baccalaureate credits in photography and design, is a member of the 2011 graduating class of the Ohio Tourism Leadership Academy (OTLA) and a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) through the CincyUSA. Her skills include tourism marketing, customer relations management, sales, sales management, negotiation, CRM software, MS software, copy writing, song writing, and performing.Violet Rae is a singer/song writer with women's folk trio, Raison D'Etre, a juried performing arts group with the Kentucky Arts Council.
