During my time here I shadow and document certified Athletic Trainers as they conduct emergency, injury prevention, and rehabilitative care to patients within the area.

While at Christopher Newport University I had the opportunity to shadow under a certified athletic trainer. During my two months I was able to observe many rehabilitative, preventative, and emergency care techniques performed on athletes in three different sports. These sports include Women's Field Hockey, Women's Soccer, and Women's Basketball. I also helped with game day preparations and clean up for the Women's Field Hockey and Basketball Team.

I was able to observe a Doctor of Physical Therapist while she went through her daily routine with her patients. These routines include but are not limited to evaluations, rehabilitation, and follow-ups. I also helped maintain organization and cleanliness of the facility per request of the staff.

I was responsible for all maintenance within Willingboro High School and the Township Public Works building . This includes but is not limited to; cleaning bathrooms, lifting between 10-50 pounds, cleaning classrooms, and reorganizing certain areas. The responsibility was in preparation for the upcoming school year.
