During my collaboration with Metallic Poles Factory, I had the following main results:- Regeneration of waste hazardous chemical solutions (one with high content of CrO3 and one with high content of NH4Cl) used in the galvanization process, by thus reducing the volume of wastewater generated and the costs of the production processes.- Starting of the procedure for the replacement of hazardous chemicals with others less dangerous and easier to regenerate, such as replacement of caustic degreasing solution with an organic, self-regenerating solution, testing of some ecological passivation solutions without CrO3.- Revision of the Compliance Action Plan required by the Integrated Environmental Authorization, subject to IPPC legislation, proposing BAT (Best Available Techniques).
