I am an academician and an embedded system developer, primarily focusing on FPGA-based accelerators, edge computing and hardware-software codesign. Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Goa Campus. My interests are predominantly interdisciplinary, often involving digital circuit design, system-on-chip architectures, and interfacing with standard microprocessors. Additionally, I serve as a consultant for various industries in embedded systems implementation, with a focus on AMD/Xilinx Zynq SoC and Intel/Altera Cyclone V APSoC-based system design.I am a supporter of the open-hardware movement and have released multiple open-source IPs for the community (https://github.com/vipinkmenon).
