Hi, I am Vipin Kumar Oad from Pakistan. I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Gdansk University of Technology, Poland. My Ph.D. dissertation is focused on "Groundwater flow modeling with 1D representation of vadose zone processes". During the first year of my Ph.D. degree, I ranked 3rd on the Polonium International Doctoral Fellowship winners' list. During my second and third year, I also won the Francium Fellowship. I got my Master's in Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) from the U.S. Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan. During that time, I achieved an opportunity (Scholarship Award) to study for one semester at the University of Utah, United States of America.Until now, I have published 12+ research articles in renowned journals as a first and co-author, a book chapter, and participated in and organized national and international conferences.I like participating in extracurricular activities, traveling, photography, and vlogging with my education. As a student, I also visited around 34 countries from the E.U., the U.K., Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the USA.
