• Provide overall direction and guidance to the production team of 70 men with the objective of maximizing growth and profitability.• Implement strategies for plant capacity optimization and overall operations efficiency.• Manage manufacturing operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives and policies of the company.• Ensure all regulatory compliances related to manufacturing operations and plant maintenance are met at all times.• Ensure delivery of products are made as per schedule.• Pro-actively plan and review monthly production schedules including raw material requirement.• Review the operational failures to analyse reasons and implement solutions to avoid recurrences.• Consistently strive to reduce the cost through robust manufacturing processes.• Establish good manufacturing processes and implement Lean Mfg.• Reviews performance/ effectiveness of vendors/ partners periodically and initiate improvement initiatives
