Chief Product OfficerExplor.App Jan 2024 - PresentCo-founded and architected Explor, an innovative travel-tech platform designed to revolutionize the travel industry. I collaborated with my co-founder to develop a comprehensive product strategy, with a particular focus on creating seamless, intuitive user experiences that drive engagement and adoption across emerging markets.As CPO my primary responsibilities include the design and refinement of the UI/UX components, ensuring that each user interaction aligns with Explor's vision for quality and usability. Co-FounderLiwe Communities Jul 2021 - PresentCo-conceptualized and launched Sri Lanka's pioneering cloud-based smart communities management platform, creating a comprehensive digital ecosystem connecting condominium residents with property management and service providers.As part of the founding team, I was integral in conceptualizing the product, with a primary focus on designing the user experience and user interface to ensure the app’s functionality met the needs of both residents and management teams. Collaborating closely with key project stakeholders, designers, and developers, I played a hands-on role in developing the Proof of Concept (PoC) and successfully bringing it to market.My responsibilities extended to the ongoing refinement of the platform, implementing user feedback to enhance functionality, and optimizing features to align with market needs. I currently hold the position of shareholder, with no active involvement in the day-to-day operations, allowing the core team to continue driving Liwe’s mission forward. -

Co-FounderParagon Easy English Oct 2021 - PresentAs Co-founder, I lead the digital transformation initiative of Paragon Easy English, an established UNESCO-backed English language learning programme that serves Sri Lanka’s rural and underserved communities.Leading the digitalization strategy, I successfully adapted proven physical learning methodologies into an engaging digital platform while preserving the integrity of the original curriculum. I was responsible for the user experience design, as well as overseeing the development and launch of the prototype that transforms textbook content into dynamic multimedia lessons, including audio guidance, video demonstrations, and gamified learning modules.I was also responsible for creating the PoC of the application, which is in the process of finalizing donor funding for further enhancement of the programme and public launch.

I supervised and managed the day-to-day operations of a 12-member team, in addition to managing project workloads, monitoring deadlines and keeping to budgets.As the Creative Director, I led brainstorming and creative sessions, as well as discovery meetings with clients and the team. I conducted interviews and research sessions for User Profiling and User Concept building, while spearheading UX research and workflow planning. Moreover, I took a hands-on approach for the design and delivery of low/high fidelity UIs and prototyping, implementing user experience audits and usability testing based on user feedback. In February 2022, Meridian partnered with Mountain Lion Ventures, a venture capital company, to establish Infragist (Pvt) Ltd., which ceased Meridian operations during the time.
