I hold a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology specializing in Cyber Security from SLIIT, which I completed in September 2024. Currently, I serve as a Banking Lead at CryptoGen Security Operations Center, where I manage client-specific security operations, guide junior analysts, and address complex cybersecurity challenges within the banking sector.My journey began as a Junior SOC Analyst intern, where I gained significant experience working in a Security Operations Center and utilizing various security tools. During my internship, I mastered tools such as FortiSIEM, CrowdStrike EDR and XDR, Chronicle SIEM, Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, Trellix ESM, Kaspersky AV, and Imperva WAF. My dedication and performance earned me a promotion to Shift Lead, where I managed SOC operations during shifts, assigned analysts to clients, and addressed challenges to ensure smooth workflows.Currently, as a Banking Lead, I specialize in managing banking-related clients within the SOC environment. I act as the primary point of contact for junior analysts regarding banking client issues, ensuring effective communication and resolution. Additionally, I liaise between clients and the SOC team, providing guidance to junior analysts while ensuring high standards of service delivery. This role has allowed me to enhance my leadership skills, deepen my expertise in managing sector-specific cybersecurity challenges, and deliver tailored solutions to banking clients.
