I was engaged in the capacity of Financial Controlling as well as delivery and customer experience management in several operational areas, through diverse, small teams.I joined the Camso group as a part of their new Shared Service Center in the capacity of Assistant Manager Accounts Payable. I was instrumental in setting up the AP function in a Shared Services format with extensive transparency, process orientation, standardization and customer focus. I was quickly promoted to the Controller position within a year to revamp the Controlling area. My focus areas are Budgeting, forecasting, fund management and overall financial oversight of the Shared Service operation. I also maintain direct connectivity with the Group's Global Operation, providing visibility via management reporting.I also was instrumental in setting up the AP operation at the onset of transition to Shared Service Model and have overseen delivery and development of several teams within the organisation including Credit and Collection, Mater Data and of course Accounts PayableAs a a key leader in the Shared Service Center, I have extensively worked on people development, empowerment and upskilling through coaching efforts. I was also the youngest Team Leader in the Sri Lankan operation, which employed 300+ professionals, during my service in this position.
