Cost Management: • Taking part in cost controlling of design and build projects during the design development stage and comment on possible solutions for cost reduction.Cost Estimation: • Preparation of cost to completion of ongoing projects and advising Employer of the possible overruns and savings.Contract Administration:• Updating of financial “S” curve on monthly basis and assessment of the circumstances under which “S” curve is liable to take different path.• Initiation and drafting of contractual correspondences according to contract conditions.• Implication and engagement with dispute resolution process under the FIDIC conditions of contract.Cost Reporting:• Interpretation of figures of audited financial statements and extract the applicable data to fill the bidding forms.• Conveying the significance of financial data in lieu of the ability of the company to fulfil the eligibility & qualification criteria of bids to the top management.• Assessment of the relevant contract clauses with regards to the insurances, obtain quotations, evaluation in terms of cost as well as technical criteria and selection of appropriate proposals.Procurement Advice:• Drafting of MOU, Letter of Acceptance and Sub Contract Agreements.• Conducting Self-assessment on capacity of the Company to fulfill the eligibility & qualification criteria requirements of bids & advise management whether to proceed or not. • Preparation of Bid Submission action plan based on the required bid documents and assign each submission to the relevant parties.• Preparation of pre-qualification related bid forms for submission and final compilation of comprehensive submission documents including price proposal.Construction Technology:• Interpretation of the difference between tender drawings, schematic drawings, detail design drawings and construction drawings.• Acquire knowledge on various design stages of design and build projects.

Cost Management: • Data Collection & updating of cost of resources.• Advising project team on the cash flow and consequences upon analyzing of post-tender budget.• Preparation of cost / budget reports and forecasting of cost based on construction programme.• Predicting cash flows based on available project data and comment on the necessity of bridging finance requirements for projects.• Identification of alternative methods as well as alternative materials to minimize the possibilities of project cost overrun.Cost Estimation: • Identification and the application of most appropriate costing method considering the time, available details in drawings, specifications etc. • Formulation of a unified system (in MS-Excel) for BOQ pricing purpose in bids and application the same to suit to the method of measurement specified in particular specification.• Review and access bid documents to ensure that sufficient information is available to prepare bid. Liaise with Employer/ Consultant regarding any missing details/ any ambiguities or discrepancies.Contract Administration:• Identification and assessment of the direct / indirect costs which have not accounted at the time of bidding and budget reports. • Initiation of contractual correspondences according to the FIDIC 2010 MDB edition contract conditions of a road construction project.Cost Reporting:• Quantification of major materials in projects based on the BOQ quantities and assessing actual requirement and advice on procurement of materials in terms of sources, Output, prevailing market prices etc.Procurement Advice:• Assessment of evaluation & qualification criteria for the selection of potential sub-contractors.• Making decision on the various documents / formats required to be included in the tender document.• Evaluation of sub-contractors based on the financial, technical and experience capacity. • Understanding and interpretation of General and Particular Specification.

Cost Management: • Determination on the factors/constrains that influence the selection and advise the management on the possible project options.• Collecting, compiling and analyzing cost data of previous similar projects and correct application of the same for preliminary cost forecasting / budgeting purpose.• Identification & application of appropriate cost savings on various options and making appropriate adjustments in order to suit with the Employer’s outline budget.Cost Estimation: • Searching, Collecting and compiling of sources of cost data from previous similar nature projects.• Conducting preliminary estimation works of projects based on the collected historical cost data.Contract Administration:• Assessment, identification and incorporation of contract clauses related to the post contract matters and preparation and submission of monthly Interim Payment Application.• Initiation of variations including the preparation of rate / cost analysis reports, submission, subsequent negotiation and obtaining approval.• Data collection, prepare contractual cost and time related claims and finalization upon negotiation with Engineer.• Apply and submission of Advance, Performance bonds and insurances.• Preparation of monthly Interim Payment Application.Cost Reporting:• Frequent assessment of sub contractor’s cash flow to avoid disturbance to sub contract work as a result of negative cash flow.Procurement Advice• Understanding factors that are to be considered in drafting special conditions / particular conditions and incorporation of the same for the proposal documents.• Preparation of Bills of Quantities and upon completion pricing of the same.
