Current● Developed a feature using C++ for autonomous vehicle to enhance primary security by providing real-time information from multiple sensors, ensuring reliability in case of sensor failure, while maintaining computational efficiency and optimal memory usage. Additionally, an audio feature was incorporated to improve awareness, further enhancing the system’s ability.● Spearheaded extensive testing of sensors including LiDAR’s and cameras in diverse environments and operational parameters, gathering crucial data for analysing their performance, reliability, limitations, and generating comprehensive documentation to facilitate data interpretation and future reference.● Implemented containerization with Docker to streamline the entire testing workflow, ensuring portability and reproducible testing environment across different platforms. This enabled rapid development of perception stack, evaluation of different approaches and improved collaboration.● Bridged ride-hailing app and the autonomous vehicle with secure communication using C++ and Python, leveraging MQTT to receive ride booking information, and align relevant details with precise pose data transmitted through ROS messages, ensuring optimal journey planning for the autonomous vehicle.● Facilitated a successful liaison role between development team and suppliers, ensuring requirement adherence and on-time delivery of crucial autonomous vehicle components.
