I help people feel successful. With a focus on strong processes and collaboration, I have transformed team performances and delivered breakthrough innovation in operations.I have been fortunate to use my expertise in multiple operational environments including manufacturing, transport and logistics, supply chain, sales and human resources. During this time I have developed a unique skill set that helps individuals and teams see the value in their work by utilising every problem large and small as a learning, development and business improvement possibility.Since leaving Supply Chain in 2021 I have been fortunate to work professionally with Dressage NSW before joining Equestrian NSW as Education Manger and then moving into the Interim CEO role. This is incredibly satisfying, combining my passion with my skills and seeing the parallels in the business and sporting worlds. It is inspiring to be supporting athletes that may one day represent our Australia at the Olympic level as well as the riders and clubs in all disciplines across NSW.For over 20 years I have honed my approach to be able to replicate successful outcomes by creating, building and developing high-performing teams. These are 2 principles that have driven my leadership of teams and transformation of businesses:1) Strong processes with collaborative teams will always outperform strong individuals with weak processes.2) Use every issue as an opportunity to develop thinking capability in teams and individualsDeveloping new, but more commonly existing teams using these principles has allowed me to deliver uncommon results. These teams ultimately share these key hallmarks:We understand that the team and team results come first* We understand the ‘why’ of what we do* We understand that none of us is perfect* We trust each other and each other’s motivations and we enjoy working together* We look for solutions to issues and a way to prevent recurrence and do not blame each otherWe deliver continuously better results* Performance improves through increased commitment* All team members contribute to change and innovation* Change happens easily, with a sense of pride and ownershipAnd when this happens, the team becomes cohesive and self-directedI enjoy taking on the challenge of new and existing teams and their leaders and helping them to find creative ways to improve their operations, innovate and transform through engagement and commitment.
