As a Consultant at EY, I worked in the Business Advisory Services (BAS) division handling clients in the Government & Public Sector space. Some of the key assignments that I worked on during this stint at EY are:Implementation of Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM): UPSDM is one of the major initiatives undertaken by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh to provide skill development & training to 2.3 million youth across the state over the next 5 years (2014 - 2018). I was a part of the core team at EY that helped the Govt. of UP to conceptualize and implement this skill development program by streamlining the skill development & training initiatives implemented by various govt. agencies/ministries under one mission i.e. UPSDM. Odisha Modernizing Economy Governance & Administration (OMEGA)OMEGA is a £19 million project implemented by the Government of Odisha under the assistance of Department of International Development (DfID), Government of UK. Under this initiative, I worked with the Industries Dept, Govt. of Odisha to streamline the process of investment facilitation and investment promotion so as to attract more industrial investments in the state thereby strengthening the state's economyVision Document for Food Processing Industries in MaharashtraThe Govt. of Maharashtra through Maharashtra Agro Industries Development Corporation (MAIDC) had engaged EY to prepare a roadmap/vision document for Food Processing Industry in Maharashtra covering the key sectors such as - Food grains, Fruits & Vegetables, Fisheries, Poultry and Dairy. The vision document that was set forth analysed the current state of affairs of the food processing sector, the opportunities that it has, the likely challenges that would be faced and a road map for realizing the potential of the food processing industry.

I worked as an Analyst in two major divisions of CRISIL Limited i.e. Infrastructure Advisory from April 2011 - June 2012) and Customized Research (July 2012 - Feb 2013). The Infrastructure Advisory division of CRISIL advises regulators and governments,multinational agencies,investors etc. primarily in the areas of infrastructure development. The work focuses on policy formulation, regulation and design and implementation of PPP frameworks. In the infrastructure advisory, i worked in the Energy practice. As an analyst in this practice, i worked on advisory engagements pertaining to energy sector especially renewable energy. Some of the key engagements that i worked upon are: - Study on Biomass Potential in Bangladesh for 'International Finance Corporation' (IFC) - part of the World Bank Group - Study and Evaluation of 'Generation Based Incentive' (GBI) scheme for wind power projects supported by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy,Government of IndiaPost my stint at the Infrastructure Advisory, i worked with the Customized Research division. The customized research division at CRISIL leverages on its proprietary information network, database and methodologies to provide its clients with customised research inputs and conclusions for its business planning, monitoring and other decision-making purposes. In the customized research division, i worked in the 'Metals, Mining & Energy' team. Some of the key assignments that i worked upon are: - Assessment of aluminium usage in India in select key end-use industries - Analysis of financial health of distribution utilities in five major states in India and assessment of wind power potential in these states - Credit analysis and research of major companies in India (across various sectors) to assess the financial health and credit worthiness of the companies
