 Marketing & Sales of high quality Organic pigments & pigment preparations to achieve sales targets. Key account management. Develop market for new products by identifying the target segments & customers by working together with the Technical team.

Responsible for marketing & Sales of Raw Materials such as pigments & additives to various industries such as Plastics, Powder coatings, Textiles & Personal care Industry in South India & Export Markets.

Overall incharge of Production, QC, R&D, stores, dispatch & administration of the factory. My responsibilities include: Production: -Planning & Execution, Generation of SOP, Generation of BOM (Batch Sheet) through ERP, Optimization of use of raw material minimizing wastage, Proper and Adequate utilization of men and machines, etc. R&D, QC: - Substitution of Raw Material to minimize cost without compromising on quality, Quality checks of Incoming Raw Material, In-process & Finished products. Stores & Dispatch: - Minimize both Raw Material & Finished Goods inventory, Decide and maintain buffer stocks of both, Decide on Priorities of Production in case of urgent schedules to be met with, Decisions about dispatch of Finished Goods, etc. Administration: -General Administration and overall Discipline at the Factory

Directly responsible for all R&D & Quality assurance related activities which include: Scale-up of the process by carrying out bulk-trails in manufacturing. Standardization of the process after successful bulk-trails. Generation of SOP after any new product is launched. Technology Transfer to the Production Department. Monitoring of various product/production processes by continuous interaction with Production Department. Identifying & Understanding the bottle-necks in the processes & try & improve upon them in order to improve process efficiency. Development of new vendors for alternative Raw materials. Close interaction with Purchase Department for ordering Raw materials/RM samples for new Vendor development/cost reduction activities.  Testing of incoming Raw materials & to check if they meet the specifications. Testing of all the finished goods & to ensure that they meet the specifications before they leave the factory. Generation of SOP for all Lab instruments. Product Design/modification by lab trails. Trouble-shooting in case of Technical complaints & providing support to Technical sales team. Overseeing shade development as per the requests/samples submitted by the Sales team.Reporting to Technical Director & Managing Director.

Responsible for developing various Technology platforms from scratch associated with Coil coatings. Developed Coil coating Technologies for various systems such as Polyester-Melamine, Epoxy, Polyurethane & PVDF. The products in individual systems are Primer, Topcoat & Backside coating. Other responsibilities include vendor development, continual improvement, cost reduction activities & trouble-shooting & technical support if required.

Worked in various capacities which include;1) Production activities: Production planning, material procurement on a daily basis, execution & manpower deployment for the same & Co-ordination with Quality control.2) Quality control : Testing, tinting & approval of various production batches.3) Shade development: Shade matching & formula generation according to colour specimen provided by the customer.
