- Monitoring and management of 70+ drivers including duties such as ensuring all pick-ups anddeliveries are made in a timely manner, ensuring all employee/driver concerns are addressed(such as time off, tractor maintenance concerns, payroll), ensuring all drivers meet federal andstate regulatory requirements, and participating heavily in driver retention/turnover prevention- As a part of a 3rd Party Logistics company, I act as a liaison between Werner and ourdedicated customer by using and maintaining a strong corporate network (including customerservice, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance, etc.) to ensure driver and dedicated customerneeds are met.- Reworking assigned load planning when loads and/or drivers are not available in anenvironment where only 12 hours’ notice is given to plan all loads- Efficient and effective face-to-face communication with drivers to assign loads and discussconcerns- Responsible for training other operations personnel- Computer skills including (but not limited to) Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel-Daily utilization of logistics software including AS400 Software and Qualcomm Satellite Communication

- As a Shift Lead, I was responsible for a crew of 15-20 employees- Served as the primary contact with other drivers to correct any trailer/load issues beforeinvolving our dedicated customer.- Also served as the primary contact for our dedicated customer for all conflict resolution;delegated tasks to appropriate staff to ensure best practices and outcomes- Responsible for the organization of 1000+ trailer yard (broken up amongst 4 different sites)- Ensuring all trailer moves are made in an efficient and safe manner- Assisting load (non-yard) drivers with finding their correct trailer, getting trailers hooked up, etc.
