My background is in marine electronics and communications, mainly in SONAR mapping and oceanbottom topography. I enlisted in the US Navy back in 1996 and voluntered in the Silent Service. I've attended many schools and training in the field of electronics and damage control of shipboard equipment, and have been attached to various submarine squadrons and assisgned to 688 Los Angeles Class attack submarines as sonar technician most of my career. I have embraced the Navy's core values, HONOR, COURAGE, and COMMITMENT in any situation I have faced professionally and personally.The experience of my naval career has opened doors in seismic exploration at the oil and energy industry where I served as an Navigation Specialist. Trained by the best in the industry, Schlumberger at both campuses Houston, Texas and Asker, Norway. I have surveyed ocean floors from Gulf of Mexico, the waters surrounding West Africa, the Baltic Sea and Norwegian Seas.Settling back to the mainland US, I have worked in various retail such as West Marine and Best Buy as sales consultant for tablets and handheld mobile marine and land GPS navigation and communication electronics.
