Work independently to provide high-level technical support and data analyses, and make recommendations based on interpretation of data. Apply extensive discipline specific knowledge and experience to engineering tasks and projects. Additional involvement in processes will include, but are not limited to, budgeting and planning and acquisitions and divestitures. Manage, mentor and train less experienced technicians. Demonstrate mastery of software systems. Take a multi-discipline approach to projects.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:• Assemble and analyze data and reporting from various internal systems including Aries, Excalibur, AVM, and third party well data, including state regulatory and production datao Apply broad system knowledgeo Check and assure accuracy of data and reporting performed by junior level technicians • Advise on methods for data retrieval, collecting, loading, manipulation, and management for use by groups other than engineering teams/departments • Review and authorize supporting data via research from public sources such as PT/Dwights and regulatory agencies • Support evaluation for mergers, acquisition, divestitures and due diligence • Sork with experienced engineers on technical/economic evaluations• Create OFM (oilfield manager) database• Circulate monthly reports based on standard procedures to provide project performance tracking• Assist engineers in the preparation of technical reports, analyses, evaluations and presentations• Perform basic calculations and preliminary analyses of data in support of engineering studies• Initiate and develop more accurate and reliable data analyses and reporting methodologies• Monitor new technologies and make recommendations• Train less experienced technicians• Production database management, simple economic analysis (Aries), goal tracking, performance management, decline curve analysis and Aries database updates and management
