Worked as a legal secretary in the litigation department for several years, assisting a partner and several associates. Currently working as a floater secretary I am responsible for working heavy litigation, corporate, real estate, financial restructuring, IP desks with partners and associates alike. Calendaring and distribution of incoming correspondence, pleadings and discovery. Typing of correspondence, reports, pleadings, discovery and various forms for office use. Scheduling of meetings, court appearances, telephonic appearances, conference calls, depositions. Handling of travel reservations and arrangements.

As a secretary working in an insurance defense firm I worked a very heavy litigation desk, assembling documents/pleadings, daily filings with the courts, calendaring of hearings, depositions, mediations. Internal file maintenance and calendaring. Travel arrangements for several associates.

Hired as an office clerk to handle the copying and distribution of documents, internal mail delivery, outside messengering to local clients and opposing counsel. As receptionist I was responsible for handling all incoming calls, conference room calendaring, time entry, opening of incoming mail. As calendar clerk I handled all incoming mail for identification of correspondence and pleadings, calendaring of important dates and distribution to responsible attorneys.
