Virginia Intelisano, M.A., LPC, LCPC, completed her Bachelor's degree at the University of South Florida in 2003. In undergrad, she received cum laude, Psi Chi and Phi Theta Kappa honors. She moved on to graduate from the University of South Florida’s Mental Health Counselor Education Master’s program, graduating magna cum laude in 2006. Virginia has been working as a licensed clinician in the field of mental health since 2009, after completing her supervision with the state of Florida.Virginia has a history of working with adults and children and counsels individuals, couples and groups on a daily basis. From 2006-2010, she worked with Florida families in need of crisis intervention and those in foster care. She maintained independent or virtual practices between 2010 and 2020. In 2013, Virginia moved to Columbia, Missouri with her husband. From 2013-2016, she worked with teenagers at Compass Health Network who lived with trauma, mental health and substance use disorder. She continued her work with Compass Health Network in an outpatient setting including, privately-insured clients, Medicaid and tele-health, collaborative services. Currently, she is in private practice at Chicago Personal Growth Institute in Chicago’s Loop. In her spare time, she’s a female blogger, vlogger, public speaker and online course creator.
