 Managed customer accounts, wrote new policies for existing business, daily interactions with customers and companies, maintained computers, some office manager duties, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Key operator/trainer for “Applied Systems” computer software, managed three software conversions; configured each for download, reports, accounting, etc. Wrote and put in to place the personal lines department’s workflows and standards. Helped to integrate these standards with the agency management system in order to automate the auditing process.

 Work directly with prospects and clients to assess their personal property risk exposures, make appropriate recommendations, and place coverage to address those risks. Achieve agency account retention goals through proactive account rounding, and up-selling of limits and coverages. Maintain client files and ensure proper documentation, by processing all policies, endorsement changes, invoices, binders, certificates of insurance, documentation, activities, etc. Respond to client inquiries, incoming e-mail, mail, and company requests. Review all items to be processed, to insure items were received as ordered.

 Covering South Carolina territory marketing duties for insurance companies including Travelers, Safeco, One Beacon, and Harleysville. Marketing duties include training, sales, projects, and customer service.  Handled day-today sales guidance, technical assistance, and product knowledge. Audited agents for the carriers to ensure proper documentation retention.

 Wrote new policies and handled policy renewals. Administrative tasks included billing supervision and filing. Daily customer service interactions with policyholders both in person, via telephone, and e-mail.  Maintained files in accordance with agency standards.
