  Receive and screen telephone calls and visitors; Respond to general inquiries within the scope of knowledge and confidentiality guidelines. Maintain detailed and sensitive public contact and /or independent origination of correspondence involving the knowledge and application of detailed regulations, policies and procedures. Prepare daily sign-in sheet reports for the Program Director. Keep accurate records of timekeeping data for all personnel. Assist with the process of 634 timesheets and IDP's. Type, organize and maintain department manuals, forms, paper and electronic records. Submit and track work orders. Order and maintain supplies and materials. Conduct safety checks and log safety reports from all areas of the hospital. Report any malfunctions to appropriate vendors for repairs. Perform audits and prepare reports as assigned. Catalog resource items and track loaning and returning objects. Coordinate work and interface with other programs/departments within the hospital. I communicate effectively with all manner of staff and external agencies, both verbally and in writing. Type and proofread various reports. I use common office electronic devices such as fax and copy machines, printers, scanners and multi-line telephones, to relay information within the hospital, as well as to outside agencies. Train office personnel in computer and software use. Perform audits as assigned. Orient newly assigned program staff to the functions of the program office.
