I am more than familiar with Latin American culture; I was born and raised in Honduras, Central America, where I owned and operated a retail establishment, and moved to the United States once I attained 18 years of age. I then attained higher education and professional experience in the U.S. As such, I am fluent in Spanish and English and well versed in the business practices and cultures of each location. I earned two Associate’s Degrees with honors, a B.S. in Business Management, and a Master of Business Administration with honors. My leadership skills and organizational management are prominently displayed in how I efficiently managed a 24-hour fast service family restaurant as well as supervised production in a manufacturing plant. In each profession, I instructed personnel on a multitude of subjects and implemented proper business practices. Recently, I instructed Spanish classes at a secondary school for four years, which provided me with the occasion to facilitate learning through a variety of methods including using technology. I also attended online classes in which I utilize discussion forums, bulletin boards, file transfer systems, and flash quizzes.
