- Administers chemotherapy, autologous and allogeneic stem cell infusions, CAR-T and TIL therapies, BITE injections, and experimental cellular products- Monitors for potential infusion-related reactions and intervenes using Duke hypersensitivity protocols- Educate patients and caregivers on expectations for chemotherapy, stem cell, and cellular therapy treatments

- Maintains a cohesive workflow through assisting staff nurses, collaborating with hospital leaders and administrators on patient flow and throughput, making patient assignments, and addressing any unanticipated obstacles- Offers expert guidance in managing pre- and post- autologous, allogenic, and CAR-T cellular infusions. This includes the administration of chemotherapy, cellular immunotherapies, stem cell products, and clinical trials- Precept staff members, students, and charge nurses by educating them on hospital/unit specific policies and providing leadership and guidance during the orientation period

- Provides direct patient care on VCU’s Cellular Immunotherapies and Transplant Unit (CIT)- The administration of cellular immunotherapies and stem cell products- The administration of chemotherapy and high risk specialty infusion therapies- Facilitate the complexities of the pre and post transplant process for adult and pediatric patients- Coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to properly execute protocols in place for patients on clinical trials- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assure care is individualized to our patients and their families
